Story behind this kural
In a bustling village nestled beside a fertile valley, lived a proud potter named Kumar. He crafted beautiful pots and boasted of their worth. "My creations adorn every home!" he'd declare. Nearby, old Maniyan toiled in his fields, coaxing life from the earth. One harsh winter, the rains failed. The river dwindled, and the harvest withered. Kumar's pots, though lovely, were useless without food to store. The villagers grew hungry, and their spirit waned. Kumar, despite his fine wares, had nothing to trade for the little grain that remained. Maniyan, however, shared what meager harvest he had, knowing the value of sustenance above all else. His simple act of generosity kept the village from despair. Slowly, the rains returned. The fields revived, and life blossomed anew. Kumar, humbled, finally understood where true value resided.
