Listen
Explanation
The one who steadfastly avoids evil cannot be ruined. Moral integrity is the strongest armor against life's adversities.

Story behind this kural
In a village nestled beside a whispering forest, lived two woodcutters, Arun and Bala. Arun was known for his honesty; he never took more than he needed and always left the forest as he found it. Bala, however, was tempted by shortcuts. He'd secretly fell extra trees, selling the wood for personal gain, even though it was against the village rules. One harsh winter, a fierce storm raged. The forest's edge, where Bala had often worked, became treacherous. A massive, ancient tree, weakened by his earlier greed, toppled. It crushed Bala's hut completely, leaving him with nothing. Arun, whose small home was built with integrity, weathered the storm perfectly. He shared his firewood and food with the village, including a humbled Bala. Though both were woodcutters, only one truly understood the forest's subtle power.
