உள்ளத்தால் பொய்யாது ஒழுகின்
உலகத்தார் உள்ளத்துள் எல்லாம் உளன்
Uḷḷattāl poyyātu oḻukiṉ
Ulakattār uḷḷattuḷ ellām uḷaṉ
English translation
One who lives without falsehood in the heart will dwell in the hearts of all people in the world.

Story behind this kural

The merchant, astonished, offered him more, but Arul politely declined. News of Arul's honesty spread like wildfire. Soon, everyone in the village, from the baker to the blacksmith, spoke of his integrity. Even the King heard of Arul and sought his counsel. Arul remained the same simple woodcutter, yet his name was spoken with respect and fondness by all. His humble home became a place of warmth, where kindness and truth were always found.
