தாமின் புறுவது உலகின் புறக்கண்டு
காமுறுவர் கற்றறிந் தார்
Tāmiṉ puṟuvatu ulakiṉ puṟakkaṇṭu

English translation
The learned love learning, seeing that their own joy brings joy to the world.
