Story behind this kural
The village of Eldoria was often raided by the Wolf Clan. One day, young Gareth, eager to prove his bravery, rallied the villagers. "Let us attack them now!" he cried. "We shall drive them from our lands!" Without consulting the village elders or scouting the Wolf Clan's defenses, Gareth led the charge. The villagers, fueled by Gareth's enthusiasm, rushed towards the wolves' territory. However, the Wolf Clan was prepared. Hidden in the trees, they unleashed a volley of arrows. Many villagers fell. Gareth, shocked by the ambush, tried to rally his people, but panic had spread. The villagers, disorganized and outnumbered, were easily routed. Defeated and ashamed, the survivors limped back to Eldoria. The Wolf Clan, emboldened by their easy victory, began to encroach further on their lands. Gareth, once so eager for battle, now understood the bitter cost of rash action. He had gifted the wolves with the very ground from which they would launch their next attack.
