For one who acts from the right position with complete planning, no ally is needed except courage.
Listen
Explanation
Proper positioning and thorough planning reduce dependence on others. With the right ground and comprehensive strategy, courage alone suffices. Self-reliance is possible when preparation is complete.

Story behind this kural
In a small village nestled beside a vast forest, lived two woodcutters, Arun and Bala. Arun, known for his dependence on others, always sought help before entering the woods. He would ask for advice, gather a large group, and rely on their strength. Bala, however, was a meticulous planner. He'd study the forest, identify the best trees, and sharpen his axe daily. One harsh winter, the village desperately needed firewood. Arun, as usual, assembled a team, their progress slow and hampered by disagreements. Bala, having surveyed the forest weeks prior, knew exactly where to go. He chose his trees, felled them with swift, precise strokes, and returned with a full cart, long before Arun's group even found their first promising log. While Arun's group huddled in the cold, exhausted and frustrated, Bala warmed his home, his efforts rewarded by the comfort of his own making.
