Story behind this kural
In a kingdom nestled beside a whispering forest, lived a wise advisor named Thiru. The King, known for his impulsive decisions, often sought Thiru's counsel. One day, a neighboring kingdom accused them of stealing precious gems. The King, enraged, demanded immediate war. Many advisors urged swift action. But Thiru, with a calm demeanor, requested a moment. He listened patiently to the King's fury, then proposed a different approach. He suggested sending a delegation to the neighboring kingdom to understand their claims and seek peaceful resolution. Though initially hesitant, the King, respecting Thiru's wisdom, agreed. The delegation, guided by Thiru's strategic plan, discovered the accusations were based on a misunderstanding. The issue was resolved swiftly and peacefully. The kingdom was spared a costly war, and the King learned to value thoughtful counsel over impulsive actions.
