Listen
Explanation
Those who lack proper education and speaking skills will be exposed and defeated when they face articulate and knowledgeable speakers in any debate or assembly. Their weakness in expression reveals their lack of learning.

Story behind this kural
In a bustling marketplace, a merchant named Arun boasted of his vast knowledge. He’d loudly criticize others' goods, claiming theirs were inferior. One day, a wise old scholar arrived, his cart laden with rare silks. Arun, eager to show off, challenged the scholar. “Your silks are dull,” he declared, “lacking the vibrant colors of mine!” The scholar calmly replied, “Perhaps you'd like to examine them closely?” Arun, confident, began to describe the scholar’s silks, but his words became tangled. He stammered, unsure of the correct terms for the intricate patterns. He fumbled, his boasts replaced by nervous fidgeting. The crowd, initially expectant, began to murmur. The scholar, with a gentle smile, then explained each silk's origin and artistry with grace and precision. Arun, exposed by his own shallow knowledge, could only retreat, his face burning with shame. The crowd, now appreciating the scholar’s genuine understanding, eagerly purchased his silks.
