Story behind this kural
In the village of Eldoria, the seasons turned with predictable grace. Farmer Giles harvested bountiful wheat, storing a portion for the winter. The village merchants, skilled artisans, crafted beautiful pottery and traded it for goods from afar, ensuring a steady flow of resources. But one year, the rains failed. The wheat withered, and the river dwindled. Panic gripped Eldoria. Giles, however, opened his granary, sharing his stored wheat. The merchants, though their trade slowed, had amassed reserves of dried fruits and preserved meats, which they distributed. They remembered the old sage's words: "A good village prepares for both feast and famine." Though times were lean, Eldoria did not starve. They shared what they had, and though their bellies grumbled, their spirits remained unbroken. When the rains finally returned, Eldoria rebuilt, stronger and wiser, understanding the true meaning of prosperity.
