Ingredients
- 1 cup Dried Chickpeas (Kabuli Chana)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Urad Dal
- 1-2 Dried Red Chillies
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- 1/4 cup Grated Coconut
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)

Soak chickpeas overnight or for at least 8 hours.

Drain the soaked chickpeas and pressure cook them with water and salt until tender (3-4 whistles).

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and urad dal. Let them splutter.

Add dried red chillies, curry leaves, and asafoetida. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add the cooked chickpeas and salt. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes.

Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
