காட்சிக் கெளியன் கடுஞ்சொல்லன் அல்லனேல்
மீக்கூறும் மன்னன் நிலம்
Kāṭcik keḷiyaṉ kaṭuñcollaṉ allaṉēl
Mīkkūṟum maṉṉaṉ nilam
English translation
If a king is easy to approach and not harsh in speech, the earth will extol his fame.
