Story behind this kural
In a bustling village nestled beside a shimmering river, lived a merchant named Arun. He was known for his shrewd deals, but often, a careless glance or a moment of distraction led to losses. One day, a visiting trader offered Arun a rare gem at a seemingly irresistible price. Arun, eager to close the deal, glanced at his overflowing coffers, envisioning future profits. However, a young apprentice, seeing the gem's flaws, whispered a warning. Arun, momentarily annoyed, dismissed the boy. He quickly agreed to the trade. Later, the gem proved to be a clever imitation. Arun's losses were significant. Across the village, lived an elderly potter, Kumar. He crafted simple pots, but his hands and eyes were always alert. Every detail mattered. He never rushed, and he never made mistakes. His pots were treasured, and his wealth grew steadily, a testament to his unwavering care. Kumar's success stood in stark contrast to Arun's fleeting gains and frequent setbacks.
