Those who lack proper skill will fail to accomplish tasks, even if they plan methodically.
Listen
Explanation
Planning alone is not enough. Without திறப்பாடு (practical skill/competence), even well-structured plans (முறைப்படச் சூழ்ந்தும்) lead to incomplete results. This emphasizes the importance of execution ability.

Story behind this kural
In a village nestled beside a whispering river, lived two potters, Kumar and Ravi. Kumar, known for his meticulous planning, spent weeks sketching designs for grand water jars, measuring every curve and calculating clay ratios. He’d gather the finest clay, arrange his tools just so, and meticulously prepare his workspace. Yet, when he began to mold the clay, his jars always crumbled or leaked. Ravi, on the other hand, approached his craft with practiced hands. He didn't spend hours sketching but began working immediately. His jars, though simpler in design, were strong and held water perfectly. He knew the feel of the clay, the right pressure, the subtle shifts needed for each form. The villagers, needing water vessels, chose Ravi's jars. Kumar's elaborate plans remained just that – plans. His workshop, despite its order, remained filled with broken dreams. Ravi, whose skill was in his hands, thrived, demonstrating that mastery lies not just in blueprints but in the doing.
