Story behind this kural
In a small village nestled beside a whispering forest, lived two farmers, Arun and Bala. Arun, though wealthy, was quick to anger over the smallest things. A misplaced tool, a slightly crooked fence – these triggered roars that echoed through the fields. Bala, on the other hand, was a simple man, content with what he had and patient in his work. One harsh winter, a fierce storm ravaged the village. Arun's crops, already suffering from his neglect, were utterly destroyed. Furious, he blamed the weather, the villagers, and even his own oxen. He spent his days in bitter complaints, unable to find solutions or accept help. Bala, however, assessed the damage calmly. He rallied his neighbors, shared his remaining seeds, and together they rebuilt their farms. While Arun’s land lay barren, his heart heavy with resentment, Bala's fields began to sprout anew, nourished by shared effort and a spirit of resilience. The spring brought a bountiful harvest for Bala, while Arun's anger continued to consume him, leaving him with nothing.
