Explanation
This closing kural lists three destroyers: courtesans (இருமனப் பெண்டிர் - women with divided hearts), alcohol (கள்), and gambling (கவறு). These are the companions of those abandoned by Lakshmi.

Story behind this kural
In a prosperous village lived a merchant named Arun. He was once known for his wise investments and honest dealings. But as Arun's wealth grew, so did his fondness for the tavern and the company of a charming, yet fickle, woman. He began to frequent the gambling den, lured by the promise of quick riches. At first, Arun won, fueling his arrogance. He neglected his business, his mind clouded by drink and the fleeting affections of his new companion. His loyal customers noticed his changing demeanor and slowly took their business elsewhere. His once-reliable workers began to grumble about unpaid wages. One day, Arun woke to find his coffers empty and his home nearly bare. The tavern keeper refused him credit, the woman had vanished, and the gambling den no longer welcomed him. He was alone, surrounded by the remnants of his folly, realizing the true cost of his fleeting pleasures.
