Story behind this kural
In a village nestled beside a whispering river lived two farmers, Arun and Bala. Arun was known for his harsh words and grumpy demeanor. He grumbled at the sunrise and complained to his neighbors. Bala, on the other hand, always greeted everyone with a smile and a kind word. One year, a terrible drought struck. Arun's crops withered, and his well ran dry. He went from door to door, begging for help, but received only closed doors and averted eyes. Bala, however, faced a different fate. When his crops began to fail, his neighbors, remembering his kindness, offered water and shared their meager harvest. They worked together, their spirits buoyed by Bala's encouraging words. Though their harvest was small, they all survived the hardship. Arun watched, realizing the warmth of kindness had been his greatest loss.
