Story behind this kural

In a humble village nestled beside a whispering river lived two farmers, Arun and Bala. Arun was known for his bountiful harvests, but he often haggled with his workers and forgot their kindness. Bala, though his fields yielded less, always shared his harvest generously and remembered every act of help, big or small. One season, a terrible drought struck. Arun’s crops withered, and his workers, embittered by his past behavior, offered no assistance. He faced ruin. Bala, however, despite his own hardships, shared his remaining grain and helped Arun repair his irrigation system. The villagers, witnessing Bala’s generosity and fairness even in adversity, rallied to help him as well. They remembered his past kindnesses, offering labor and support. Arun, humbled, finally understood the true measure of wealth. His fields remained barren, but he witnessed the flourishing of something far more valuable in the hearts of his neighbors.
