புகழைத் தேடு நாளும் - நீ புவியில் சிறந்து வாழு! இகழ்ச்சி இல்லா வாழ்வு - உன் இலக்காய் கொள்வாய் இன்று! உழைப்பால் உயர்வு வரும் - நல்ல உண்மை பேசி நடப்பாய்! அழைப்பு வரும் எங்கும் - உன் அறிவால் முன்னேறு! நேர்மை கொண்டு வாழு - நீ நினைப்பதை செய்து காட்டு! சீர்மை பெற்று வாழ்வாய் - உன் சிறப்பை உலகு பாடும்!
Transliteration
Pugazhaith thēdu naalum - nee Puviyil sirandhu vaazhu! Igazhchi illaa vaazhvu - un Ilakkaay kolvaay indru! Uzhaippaal uyarvu varum - nalla Unmai pēsi nadappaay! Azhaippu varum engum - un Arivaal munnēru! Nērmai kondu vaazhu - nee Ninaippadhai seydhu kaattu! Seermai petru vaazhvaay - un Sirappai ulagu paadum!
English Translation
Seek honor every day - you Live excellently in the world! A life without disgrace - make That your goal today! Through hard work, progress comes - speak The truth and walk right! Invitations will come from everywhere - progress With your knowledge! Live with integrity - you Show what you think by doing! You will live with distinction - the world Will sing your excellence!
