நீல வானம் அழகு - அதில் நிலவும் நட்சத்திரமும்! காலையில் சூரியன் வரும் - மாலை கவினாய் மறையும் அழகு! மேகங்கள் மிதக்கும் அங்கே - வெள்ளை மெத்தை போல் தெரியும்! தூகும் மழை தருமே - பூமி தழைக்க நீர் தருமே! வானம் பார்த்து வாழு - உன் வாழ்வில் உயர்வு காணு! ஞானம் கற்று வளரு - என்றும் நல்லவனாய் நடந்து!
Transliteration
Neela vaanam azhagu - adhil Nilavum natchathiramum! Kaalayil sooriyan varum - maalai Kavinaay maraiyum azhagu! Mēgangal midhakkum angē - vellai Meththai pōl theriyum! Thoogum mazhai tharumē - bhoomi Thazhaika neer tharumē! Vaanam paarthu vaazhu - un Vaazhvil uyarvu kaanu! Gnaanam katru valaru - endrum Nallavanaay nadandhu!
English Translation
The blue sky is beautiful - in it The moon and stars shine! In the morning the sun comes - in the evening It sets beautifully! Clouds float there - looking Like white cotton! Rain falls down - giving Water for the earth to flourish! Live looking at the sky - see Progress in your life! Learn wisdom and grow - always Walking as a good person!
