இமயமலை எங்கள் மலை இந்தியாவின் கிரீடமே உமையவள் உறையும் மலை உயர்ந்து நிற்கும் தலைமுடி வானை முட்டும் சிகரங்கள் வைரம் போல் பனிமூடும் தேனை ஒத்த நதிகள் பாயும் தெய்வங்கள் வசிக்கும் மலை இமயம் இந்திய தாயின் பெருமை இதன் புகழ் உலகு அறியும் அமைதி தரும் அழகான மலை அன்னையின் முடி மணிமுடி வடக்கே நிற்கும் காவலன் போல் வலிமை சேர்க்கும் இமயமே திடமான நம்பிக்கை தரும் திருமலை வணங்குவோம் இமயத்தின் பெருமை பாடுவோம் இந்திய நாடு வாழ்க என்போம் சமயமும் கலையும் வளர்ந்த சான்றோர் மலை வணங்குவோம்

The Himalaya is our mountain It is the crown of India The mountain where Uma (Parvati) resides Standing tall as the head of hair Peaks that touch the sky Covered in snow like diamonds Rivers sweet as honey flow A mountain where gods dwell The Himalaya is Mother India's pride Its glory the world knows A beautiful mountain that gives peace Mother's crown, the gem-studded crown Standing in the north like a guardian Himalayas that add strength Giving us firm confidence Let us worship this sacred mountain Let us sing the greatness of the Himalaya Let us say "Long live India" Where religion and art flourished Let us worship the mountain of sages
