ஒளி ஒளி பேரொளி உலகை ஆளும் தேஜஸ் வெளியை நிரப்பும் ஒளி விண்ணும் மண்ணும் ஒளியே கதிரவன் ஒளி தருகிறான் காணும் கண்ணுக்கு ஒளி மதி தரும் வெண்ணிலா ஒளி மனதிற்கு அறிவு ஒளியாம் இருளை விரட்டும் ஒளி இல்லையேல் வாழ்வு இல்லை அருள் என்னும் ஒளி வேண்டும் அகத்தினுள் என்றும் ஒளி கல்வி என்னும் ஒளி கொள் காணாத இடம் இல்லை சொல்லும் வாயில் ஒளி கொள் சோதியாய் வாழ்ந்திடு ஒளி என்பது தெய்வமே ஓம் என்னும் ஒலி ஒளி களி என்னும் ஆனந்தம் கொள் கண்ணொளி அகத்தொளி ஆகு

English Translation
Light, light, great light The radiance that rules the world Light that fills the expanse Sky and earth are all light The sun gives light Light to the seeing eye The moon gives white moonlight For the mind, knowledge is light Light that drives away darkness Without it there is no life We need the light called grace Always light within the heart Take the light called education There is no place unseen by it Have light in the speaking mouth Live as radiance Light is divine itself The sound Om is light Take the bliss called joy Become eye-light, inner-light
