Story behind this kural
The young farmer, Arun, was in despair. A sudden storm had ravaged his crops, leaving him with nothing. His neighbor, Bala, a wise and experienced farmer, saw Arun’s plight. Bala immediately offered Arun seeds from his own store, ensuring Arun could replant quickly. Later, a shrewd merchant offered Arun a low price for his harvest, knowing Arun was desperate. Bala intervened again. He advised Arun to wait, explaining the market would soon improve. He even helped Arun find a safe place to store the remaining grains. Months passed. The market did indeed rise. Arun sold his harvest at a fair price, recovering his losses and more. He prospered, remembering Bala's wisdom and kindness. Arun understood the value of a friend who not only helped in times of trouble but also guided him to avoid future hardship. He knew where true support came from.
