Listen
Explanation
Three factors for successful execution: the right person (செய்வான்), the right task (வினை), and the right time (காலம்). All three must align. This is strategic thinking in action.

Story behind this kural
In a small village nestled beside a river, lived a farmer named Arul. He wanted to build a sturdy bridge. First, he considered Karthi, the village carpenter, known for his skill. Then, he examined the task: a bridge strong enough to bear heavy carts. Finally, he waited for the dry season when the river's flow would be gentle. Arul gathered Karthi, providing him with strong, seasoned wood. During the dry months, Karthi worked diligently. He measured, hammered, and joined the timbers with care. Soon, a magnificent bridge spanned the river. Villagers marveled at its strength and beauty. Across the valley lived another farmer, Kumar. He, too, wanted a bridge. He chose the cheapest wood and a less experienced worker. He began building during the rainy season. The river rose, sweeping away the unfinished structure. Kumar's bridge was lost to the current.
