அழிவந்த செய்யினும் அன்பறார்
அன்பின் வழிவந்த கேண்மை யவர்
Aḻivanta ceyyiṉum aṉpaṟār
Aṉpiṉ vaḻivanta kēṇmai yavar
English translation
Even if they do ruinous things, those whose friendship came through love will not lose their love.

Explanation
Friends whose bond came through அன்பு (love) will not lose that love (அன்பு அறார்) even if the other does harmful things (அழிவந்த செய்யினும்). Love-based friendship endures all.

Story behind this kural
