Story behind this kural

In a village nestled beside a whispering river, lived two friends, Arun and Bala. Arun, a skilled weaver, prospered, while Bala, a farmer, struggled with the fickle harvests. As Arun's wealth grew, some villagers, envious, distanced themselves, whispering doubts about his character. Yet, Arun never changed towards Bala. He continued to share his knowledge and resources, always ready with a helping hand and a listening ear. One harsh winter, a severe famine struck. Many wealthy merchants hoarded their grain, raising prices beyond reach. Arun, remembering Bala's plight, secretly sent him a generous supply of food, ensuring his family survived. News of Arun’s kindness spread. Suddenly, those who once scorned him now sought his advice and friendship. They learned that true value lay not in fleeting wealth, but in the unwavering bond of loyalty.
