Story behind this kural
In a serene village nestled beside a whispering river lived two young women, Kamala and Priya. Kamala, though born to a wealthy merchant, often treated others with a cold indifference. She demanded service but offered little kindness in return. Priya, raised in a humble home, possessed a gentle heart and a ready smile. She treated everyone, from the village elder to the wandering beggar, with utmost respect and genuine affection. One day, a terrible storm swept through the village, destroying homes and leaving many without food or shelter. Kamala, despite her family's riches, hoarded her resources, fearing loss. Priya, however, opened her family's small home, sharing their meager provisions and offering comfort to those in need. The villagers, witnessing Priya's selfless actions, rallied together, helping each other rebuild and recover. Kamala, isolated and alone, realized the true meaning of wealth lay not in possessions, but in the warmth of human connection.
