Story behind this kural
In a village nestled beside a whispering forest, lived two woodcutters, Arun and Bala. Arun, content with his simple life, felled trees for firewood, never questioning the purpose of his labor. Bala, however, was consumed by a restless curiosity. He sought the "Great Tree," rumored to hold the secret of life. Years passed. Arun continued his daily work, his axe rhythmically meeting wood, providing for his family. Bala, meanwhile, wandered, endured hardships, and spoke with sages, his heart yearning for understanding. He learned to see the interconnectedness of all things, the illusion of permanence. One day, both men, now aged, met at the village well. Arun, though older, still focused on his work, while Bala’s eyes held a serene light. Arun, noticing Bala's change, asked if he had found the Great Tree. Bala smiled, "I found something far greater. I learned the forest is within, and the journey is the destination." Arun, confused, returned to his chores. Bala, bathed in sunlight, walked towards the horizon.
